its important to not that sciatica is a symptom and not a diagnosis, the usual presentation is:

• sharp, shooting pains down the back of the thigh sometimes in the lower leg and foot
• numbness and tingling
• pins & needles
• burning sensation
• weakness in the leg, foot and toes
